After writing my dissertation using Django 0.96 then moving into a .NET world for a number of years, its been a pleasure to be able to call myself a Django developer once again. I've spent the last 3 years architecting and building the UK's leading Social Media Marketing platform (in Django) which now receives between 1M and 10M hits per day.

The past few months have seen me move more into a DevOps role, but only because we now had the time to be able to "do infrastructure properly".

I'm well versed in all the usual suspects:

• MongoDB & Redis
• AWS
• Heroku
• Nginx
• uwsgi
• CI
• Vagrant (ansible & chef)
• Fabric

But I also have a fond love of all things Javascript including Node.js, and although I'm no Remy Sharp I can hold my own.
