I am a software engineer and entrepreneur based in Amsterdam. I have professional software development experience for more than 10 years and have taken several leading roles in various companies I have worked in. Joining my first ever startup (Barter based in Boston, US) in 2011 as a remote software engineer triggered my entrepreneurial mindset and since then I have worked on several startup ideas as part of different founding teams. I quit my full-time job having the dream of starting a lean startup that solves a tangible problem preferably one of my own. The result was FIND A SHELF, my first full-time startup in which I co-developed the product beside the business. I very much like the business side of products and would like to explore it more and gradually transit to a business role.My main strength is in software development and architecture and I am very comfortable with coding in Python. Having experience in backend, frontend, and native mobile development, I consider myself a Full Stack Ninja who is able to set up and architect the underlying infrastructure of modern internet products and build them. Next to my hobby projects and startup, I help other companies and startups by means of technical consultancy and development services. I am always up for new challenges and eager to learn new things. On my free time I enjoy photography and I casually trade stocks. I constantly try to push myself out of my comfort zone in attempt to discover new things about my self and my surroundings.
