Matías Aguirre, an advanced student in Software Engineering and an open source enthusiast. Have worked in several development areas such as home automation, network communication, embedded systems and medium enterprise intranet CMS. Have also worked with industrial protocols, including the reverse engineering of some propietary ones. Also gave talks about UML (User Mode Linux) in the last Debian Day celebration conference, in Uruguay. Was also assistant professor at ORT, on the course “Low level programming on Linux”.
My experience with Django counts several years now, also with different database backends, always looking for new projects to and ideas to implement and give back to the Django community what it deservers.
Currently I'm maintainer of django-social-auth and co-developer of django-pluggable-model-i18n
