My name is Sidharth, I have 4+ years of programming experience. I hold MS in Computer Science from USC,CA. I have worked with Django, Tornado, Google App Engine and CherryPy pythonic frameworks.

Currently I am working on a e-commence site: http://sweetrelish.com/. It has facebook integration, uses solr indexer and mongodb. The entire application is written using Django. To speed things up I am using memcache.

Apart from current e-commerce site I have worked on creting Mobile Ad Network based on Google App Engine, Recommendation Engine for Mobile Application and Implemented APIs in Flask.

In my last project I had created dashboard for social media sentiment analytics. I had implemented Sentiment Classification script, the entier solution was implemented on Python(Tornado)+Solr+MongoDB+Hadoop. I surely have knowledge about scaling system and creating robust backends. We had used AWS EC2 + S3 for hosting the project. And AWS EMR for analyzing data

I was responsible for handling 400+ GB/day worth of data while working for a large music webiste around 2008-2009.
