I'm currently looking for new contracting opportunities working on Django / Python projects. I have 3+ years of Django experience, and have multiple sites in production that I have worked on. These include, schoolrack.com (a site that has over 60k teachers), ilovephotos.com, kindfish.com, and groovr.com. Most of the work I have done recently consists of models, REST API work, infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, Slicehost, Linode), and image processing. I have extensive experience in doing the entire backend on multiple projects that I have worked on. I have some familiarity with javascript, but very little front end experience. I would characterize myself as predominantly a back end system architect. I am a strong believer in unit testing, and usually reach close to 75% coverage on projects that I have worked on.
