Software developer for 12 years, mainly server side, database backed applications but I can do basic front end stuff as well (HTML CSS, JavaScript).  I have been using Django for my daytime work for the last 3 and  a half years  producing the lab database for the CNAG in  Barcelona. I have worked in various industries throughout my career - mobile telecoms, finance, research organisations.

I am currently looking to move to freelance development. 

Before Python I did years of Perl before that, and some other languages, Java, Visual Basic, lots of SQL. I am comfortable configuring Linux servers and other sysadmin tasks as well.
