Terry Owen is an experienced web developer and digital director with the Victoria Advocate. Under his direction the Advocate has received national recognition for innovative digital solutions. Owen has worked for newspapers for more than 13 years and has been a pioneer in the development of online communities and social networking applications. With support from Advocate vice president Dan Easton, he has been able to develop a team of innovative Python/Django developers at the Victoria Advocate. Prior to working in newspapers, Owen spent 3 years working for Apple Computer, Inc. in California as a developer and network administrator.
