I like bridging gaps. Like translating huge projects to other languages. (VB6 to VB.Net, CakePHP to Django.)

Or connecting identity providers to service points, using SAML. (I drive the development of http://code.google.com/p/django-saml2-idp/ and its companion project.)

Or helping people get their data across boundaries, using SOAP, REST or just plain old CSV export and import. I even do a bit of QuickBooks integration with web site data.

I'm not the best graphics designer, but I've got a few I work with. I also have an apprentice or two at any given time, which helps me offer better pricing on projects.

PS-My wife says I should tell you I'm cute. We have six kids, so I guess there's something in that. (I mostly work remotely from home, because I enjoy seeing them throughout the day.)
