▪       Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments

▪       Strong knowledge of scripting languages – Shell script, Python, JavaScript, R, Java and MATLAB etc.

▪       In-depth knowledge of Django web framework

▪       Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as PostgreSQL, Nginx, Gunicorn etc.

▪       Advanced skills with SQL and NoSQL databases – MongoDB, PostgreSQL and MySQL

▪       Version Control with GitHub and Bitbucket

▪       Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Soap APIs, JSON and XML

▪       Understanding of the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem

▪       Hands-on experience in Cloudera Distribution 5.x

▪       Experience in building data pipelines using Hadoop components – Sqoop, Hive, Pig, MR, Spark, Spark SQL etc.

▪       Experience with containers and container orchestration tools such as Docker

▪       In-depth knowledge of advanced data visualization software such as Tableau, MS Power BI etc.
