Freelance web developer required to work on fun web projects for Potato London (www.potatolondon.com).
You'll be working on-site at our client's offices (Victoria, London), developing web tools and sites for huge audiences. Our clients currently and previously include Google, YouTube, FHM, Nickelodeon, agencies and content websites.
This role will see you working as part of a small team. The workload will sometimes be hectic, but the atmosphere is cheerful and proactive.
This is a full-time role starting ASAP.
Required experience:
- Python
- HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Version control
Big pluses for experience with:
- Standards-driven unobtrusive Javascript & semantically marked up HTML
- Google App Engine
- Development & consumption of HTTP APIs
- Localising web apps
- Django
- jQuery or other Javascript libraries
- Open source projects
- Google Apps & APIs
Also useful:
- HTML
- PHP
- MySQL
- Linux administration
- Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3 etc)
