With several new clients and continued growth, RentPing is currently looking for a full-time Django developer to add to the team. Working in a distributed environment, we need people who are highly motivated and meet measurable expectations in a timely fashion. If you want to be part of a team of highly skilled professionals, if you seek excellence in all that you do, and have a high sense of personal integrity, then Rentping may be a good fit for you.

Candidates for our full-time Django developer position should be proficient in Python, know their way around the Django web framework, and have experience working in team environments. Attention to best practices, usability, and clean code are a must. Supporting degrees in CS would be preferred, but not necessary. A portfolio of work may be requested.

Required Skills:

  • Python
  • Django
  • HTML / CSS / Javascript
  • VCS (Git, SVN, Bazaar)
  • Postgres

Desired Talents:

  • Ability to finish projects on deadlines
  • Creatively find the simplest solution for complex problems
  • Self Learner

Expectations:

  • 40-45 hours each week is expected.
  • Accurately track time through our time tracking system
  • No paid freelance work outside of Rentping
  • Keep up with trends in web development and standards
  • Present a professional image to any Rentping clients at all times
