Specifications for Upgrade of Existing Website

• I would to enhance the graphic design of the website to look more professional, more like some of these sites above. My existing site has the product/price functionality that is similar to the sites above but it needs improvement. Also need room for a special banner like “Free Business Card Holder for all new customers”.

The website must have the following:

• I require a “print support” or “FAQ” page which I can amend. I do have Dreamweaver so I am able to directly access files on the server and update text. I would like the page set up by yourselves so I can just amend text as required and when required. Or it can be done via the admin console. • I require a “downloads” page, where I can provide templates, or files that the users can download. I can provide all the necessary text and files. • I would like a useful links page, where I can provide links to industry groups etc. • I would like a customer testimonials page. • I require a “sign up for my newsletter” banner which will allow anyone to sign up for my newsletter. Ideally I would like to collect data which includes Name, Address, Email, Mobile/Phone number. • I require a link to my webblog, twitter, YouTube, facebook, linkedin and other social media accounts. • Navigation must be simple and easy to follow.

Customers • When a customer buys a product and checks out, they must register to set up their account. They must provide Business Name (if applicable), Name, Address, Email address, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Contact Phone number. • When a customer has purchased a product, has uploaded their and checks out, the system should offer them either their registered delivery address, or an alternative address. • Payment types offered should be Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), Direct Deposit (our bank details will appear on the invoice which they print), paypal • Delivery Conditions, a statement must be ticked to allow us to leave the delivery if no one is home. • There should be a facility for the customer to amend/delete an order in their shopping cart prior to check out. • Customer should be able to find/retrieve forgotten passwords. • Customer should be able to login to their account to view and track orders. They should be able to view history, and re-order a previous order. • I must be able to view all customer details in the Admin Console. • I must be able to download all customer details to excel.

Newsletter • I would like to be able to generate a newsletter from within the Admin Console. See www.constantcontact.com. This is the type of functionality I would like. • I would like to be able to manually add email addresses for potential customers. • Customers should be able to “unsubscribe”. They would need to login to change their “newsletter” status.

Orders • Customers are able to print their invoice, but I would like the design of the invoice changed. We will provide a copy of the format required. • Customers must tick a box at the check out stage to say they have read and agree with the terms and conditions of trade. • The existing website allows the customer to upload an artwork file. There should be a notice at this stage about artwork, detailing specs required, file types, and the fact we can help if they don’t have the file ready. • There should be a list of options maybe with radio buttons, like upload press ready pdf file, or upload Microsoft word file, or upload etc etc. Underneath should be a list of prices for artwork supplied by us. • Each order will contain an artwork file if this is the option chosen, this can be very large (maybe up to 100MB). This file must be linked in some way to the order number. • An email will be sent to the customer on completion of the order confirming the details of the order and attaching a copy of the invoice. The email address used must be orders@adelphi.net.au. • I can login to the the Admin Console and view the order details. I would like to be able to download the files and the order details for printing purposes. • In the Admin Console I am able to view all orders, and change the tracking status of each order. I should be able to view orders dependent upon the status and search all orders using different filters.

Products Currently there are around 3,500 product/price schedules. With my existing site I can login to the Admin Console and Add new categories, add products, add descriptions, add/change pricing. I would also like to be able to add images. I should also be able to add keywords/meta descriptions for SEO purposes to each product. As each product displays the page should be optimised for maximum searchability by google etc.

• I would like to add a different pricing formula for Digital Brochures. • I would like to add a different pricing formula for NCR Books • Access to change prices must be available to change on a “group” basis, or on a single basis.
• Searching the products to amend must be easy and quick. • It should be possible to move products from one category to another where that product has the same pricing formulas. • Products with no prices on the pricing database, should return “no price available, click here for a quote”. This should also generate a log file which I can view to see how many customers had unsuccessful price queries.

SEO and Google Ranking

Printing is an amazingly competitive market. Its vital my site appears on the first page of google (preferably as close to the top as possible) after a search for “business cards”, “marketing flyers”, “flyers”, “printing” or at least some of these search results.
I need help and advice on how best we can achieve this. I will be complimenting your work with web-blog reports, tweets, youtube videos and anything else I can do to improve my rankings. The SEO work done on the site is vitally important to achieve high rankings in such a competitive market. I will be relying on your advice and guidance on keywords and other things required by google.

I would also like to view reports on visitors, pages they viewed, plus as much other information as you can in order for me to maintain a high ranking website.
