Preloaded are looking for a talented and experienced freelance Django developer to join us on-site in Shoreditch for 6 weeks. The project is an exciting, high profile site with extensive geodata and social media functionality.

Requirements

  • Five years industry experience
  • Two years Django development experience
  • Experience of working with Linux, Apache and MySQL
  • Good knowledge of HTML fundamentals
  • A solid understanding of AJAX and related technologies
  • Good grasp of server setup and deployment
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Ability to both work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills

Desired

  • Experience of developing large content-heavy sites and social web applications
  • Familiarity with load balancing and multi-server deployments
  • Experience of working with web services and third-party APIs

Rate negotiable based on experience.
