I am looking for a computer programmer in the Los Angeles area, to develop and initially maintain a networking website similar to a Facebook/Myspace or a Match.com. I have not yet decided whether this website will generate revenue via sponsors, or be a “registration fee” website, but I imagine it will generate enough money in it’s early existence, to strike up interest in the major internet conglomerates, at which point we can negotiate a monumental buyout fee. Essentially, I’m looking for a “Tom” of MySpace lore.

The selection process for my website developer will depend on the following: evidence of experience in this field specific examples of knowledge and application of writing code in php, ruby, or python start-up fees for writing the code, developing/maintaining the website, until we decide it’s future

Basically, I am looking for someone I can trust to bring my novel concept to life and prosperity. In addition, I am looking for someone I like, as we will be working together closely, and linked in internet history, and likely, fame and fortune for life. This add will run for 15 days. I will meet with preliminary applicants throughout that period and make a selection within 20 days of posting.

Upon screening/interviewing and selecting a programmer, we will sign a notarized confidentiality agreement. Once in place, I will reveal the concept for a revolutionary new website that will certainly provide a novel and much needed service to our population. We can then negotiate your development costs and maintenance fees.
