Goal
To design a database driven website with a Twitter-like feel that allows people to upload pictures about any rallies around the world concerning the Iranian Election and other social causes in the future.
Looking to get a website off the ground ASAP.
Design Description
People should be able to
- Upload pictures in “tweets” (or something similar) - refer to www.twitpic.com.
Features should include
- A smart picture thumbnailing feature (selecting a small part of an image to thumbnail), so users don't have to wait forever for the site to load.
- A slideshow feature, allowing users to view all the pictures in a friendly format.
- A share feature so that people can click a link and share a pictures on their facebook or twitter account.
- Geotagging features so users can see how many pictures are uploaded in a certain country and view only the pictures from that country.
- Every page should feature rallies across the world sortable by time, date, and location/region.
- Eventually: Google Ads and a section for donation to operate the website using PayPal or something of that nature.

I am open to suggestions to make this a friendly website to be able to upload and share information quickly. This website has the potential of making alot of money eventually if it is done professionally.
