Sr UI Engineer - Python, Javascript, CSS, HTML
Our customer is a profitable and privately held software company in Redwood City, CA. They are launching a new UI initiative as a “Cloud” service. This is an opportunity to be the key point person for this particular project.
Responsibilities:
* Work with Product Management to refine product requirements.
* Work with the User Experience team to define application's user interface and flow.
* Design and implement user interfaces for server management, configuration, and reporting for the supported functionality in our core DNS, DHCP products, including integration with other enterprise systems
* Work with cross functional groups, such as QA, Technical Publications, Technical Support to drive product quality and customer satisfaction.
* Work with and enhance the core engines to work in a managed environment.
Requirements:
* Experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django
* BSCS or equivalent; Master desired
* 3+ years of proven industry experience focused mainly on building web UI and have a passion for UI.
* 3+ years of experience in CSS, AJAX, DHTML, Javascript.
* Experience with compiled languages (C, C++, Java)
* Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithm (i.e. knowing the technical tradeoffs of various approaches, performance implications, complexity, etc...)
* Experience building high availability and scalable software for enterprise level products
* Excellent communication skills and must be able to interface with customers as necessary
* Proven ability to deliver commercial quality software.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
