CMS Developer

GCAP Media PLC is looking for an experienced CMS developer to join its rapidly growing Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have experience building a CMS for a mid to large size organization and ideally have experience developing with Python and Django. However, those with solid skills in programming languages such as Perl or PHP and a willingness to learn Python and Django are also encouraged to apply.
Sought after technical skills:
- Strong Python and / or Perl skills.
- Experience using Django to create CMS components.
- Strong Unix or Linux skills.
- Strong MySQL skills.
- Good front-end skills using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience developing with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc..)
- Apache Web server Configuration
- Web Standards approach to development.
- Flex and ActionScript experience adds extra interest but not essential.
You will be working on developing from scratch a CMS system that will be used to manage the editorial content for our major brands including Capital Radio, XFM, Classic FM, Planet Rock, and many others.
