Do you have at least 3 years experience developing web applications using open source software in a Linux environment (LAMP or LAPP)? The San Diego Union-Tribune is currently seeking three full-time Programmer/Analysts (entry-level Level 1 to experienced Level 3) to join our growing internet team which supports http://SignOnSanDiego.com and several other web sites. We're seeking strong team players who have excellent programming, project management, and communication skills with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

Our current projects include:
* Developing a customized content management system using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL
* Creating web app solutions for our extensive content ranging from articles, breaking news, multimedia, photos, maps, and a wealth of interesting public, government, and exclusive data
* Development of widgets for our web site visitors
* Convert legacy apps to use emerging open source technology
* Google Maps / GIS projects
* Local Search improvements and tools for visitors
* Development of mobile sites and applications
* Creating new products on the web to benefit our advertisers and visitors
