Talented Django developer to working side by side with our CTO to keep DoingSomething’s product way ahead of the curve. People love the idea of DoingSomething. You'll make sure they continue to love its execution across Desktop, Mobile and Tablet.

This position is freelance, but can lead to long term or a permanent role for the right person.

Main Requirements

• In depth knowledge and experience of Python/Django
• Excellent grasp of HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Comfortable with command line tools and common stack components (Fabric, git, South, Memcached etc.)

Useful skills

• Working with APIs (Facebook and other social media).
• Experience scaling server architectures
• API design and development
• Experience of mobile frameworks (jQuery mobile).
