Djangogigs.com - Details for the web app for art sales gig

Developer required to help build a very cool web app, it should be a pretty fun project. Some components of this work will be very straightforward, but there will also be some interesting challenges :) The aim is to use a rapid development methodology and get a beta version up as soon as possible.

This project is to get version 0.1 Beta up and running, there will be continual updates from that stage which will potentially be at a higher hourly rate.

A detailed spec is available for shortlisted contractors, this is just a high level description of the work.

The following is to give you an idea of the scope for 0.1

Platform: LAMP, Django Components required:

Fast site, optimized for mobile devices. Database will store records of artworks each artwork will have multiple images Analytics report generated for specific pages, hits, unique visitors, devices etc. Specific pages only exist to gather analytics data and will automatically redirect to another page. Payment gateway integration Social media integration Print from web capability for artwork labels, will require formatting, maybe pdf generation Upload inventory from csv, including error checking capability before upload. Mobile device can create new record through browser, no client required, uploading image from camera or local file. Mobile device can update existing records, all fields creation of new record triggers auto generation of some fields: uniqueID, more info in detailed spec! Comprehensive search and search filtering for all records

There is of course a lot more, the aim is to get a beta version available this month, with ongoing development from that point.

Hourly rates will increase after Beta release for the right developer.
